Theatre
My innate ability to take charge has largely helped my pursuit and interest in theatre. Singing, dancing and acting are three of my favorite ways to spend my time. Devoting a vast majority of past years to the arts, I have not left the stage entirely behind as I pursue a degree in business. Instead, my experience enhances my ability to fulfill the role of a business major at a prestigious university. Favorite roles include: (Berkner High School Theatre) Princess Winnifred- Once Upon a Mattress, Victoria- Victoria Martin Math Team Queen, Shelby- Steel Magnolias, Leisl- The Sound of Music, Beth- Little Women, (Madrigal Theatre, University of Texas at Austin) Stormie- Cynthia Watch
"All the World's a stage, and all the men and women merely players…"
- William Shakespeare
Film
Although my larger-than-life expressive face is complimented by the stage, I also enjoy film. Some of my favorite roles include: Judith- A Casual Liaison, Sue Ellen- The Hour Before Dawn
Dance
Ever since I could walk, dancing has been in my blood. My passion for music combined with my technical abilities and innate talent inspired me to partake in dance in countless venues. I have danced competitively in a variety of styles, including: modern, hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, military, and novelty. I also love partner dancing and am currently taking a class expounding my knowlege in this area. Currently a member of the University of Texas Dance Team, I am able to enjoy dance in my day to day life.
Voice Over:
Working for Radio Disney is an amazing experience as I bring to life scripts through a variety of characters I create through variances in my voice. In addition to professional direction, I am given great latitude for creative expression when behind the microphone. I have recorded countless commercials, each requiring a different character exemplified through my voice.
